Socio-economic structures and future prospects of entrepreneurial women

Nowadays, the developing entrepreneurship factor has gained importance with the help of technological developments and economic expectations. Accordingly, the number of entrepreneurs is increasing and it is seen that women are also starting to work as entrepreneurs. In recent years, it has been of "strategic" importance for developing economies for women to participate largely in working life and to participate in entrepreneurial activities by taking a more active role. It may be possible for women to contribute to the national economy as entrepreneurs by identifying the obstacles experienced by entrepreneurial women and eliminating these obstacles. Therefore, this study has revealed the reasons why women entrepreneurs decide to become entrepreneurs based on their demographic structure, socio-economic status, the problems they face at the establishment or activity stage, the institutions they receive support from, the expectations of the state, and their plans for the future from the perspective of Tekirdağ. The results of the study were obtained by conducting a face-to-face survey study with 146 female entrepreneurs. As a result of the study, it was found that traditional female-type entrepreneurship prevails, the level of education is high, and most women in the middle age group are engaged in entrepreneurial activities. It has been found that the reason why women entrepreneurs become entrepreneurs is most often to obtain an economic income, they usually receive support from family members when starting a business, which makes a significant contribution to their entrepreneurship. In the research, observed that It is considered that women entrepreneurs are not well-known in the market and when the market is stagnant, it is going the problem when the business ruin. In addition, it has been found that women entrepreneurs who are willing to grow their existing businesses expect the state to provide tax relief and increase their credit opportunities to reduce concerns about economic uncertainties.
