Review on mathematical functions and methods used in privacy sharing

The global development in technology has led to the emergence of a number of data by the digital activities of billions of people. Each transaction carried out over the Internet has created a data behind it. Data has become more widespread with the access of digital devices such as computers and phones to people. Many transactions such as daily transactions, news reading information, search engine data, shopping transactions have left many data behind. Parallel to the emergence and increase in the size of the data, digital data has become recorded through technology. It has become possible to experience significant legal, security and ethical problems in terms of possible inconveniences that may arise regarding data records. Therefore, issues such as data security, confidentiality, fraud and data integrity gain importance. It is of vital importance to ensure the correct storage, security and confidentiality of data. In this thesis, mathematical functions and methods used in privacy sharing related to the digital development of technology, data created by billions of individuals as well as organisations are examined. In the examination, it is seen that many mathematical functions and methods are used in different ways in data privacy processes.
