Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out to determine Gökgören (Kirkor-Bitlis) Mountain. As a result of the field studies carried out between 2020-2021, 758 plant samples were collected. The collected plant samples were evaluated and a total of 295 taxa were identified, including 178 species, 78 subspecies and 39 varieties belonging to 51 families and 169 genera. 2 of these taxa belong to Pteridophyta and 294 belong to Spermatophyta division. 2 of the Spermatophyta members are included in the Gymnospermae and 293 in the Angiospermae subdivision. Of the Angiospermae, 266 are in the class Dicotyledones and 26 in the class Monocotyledones. A total of 22 (7.45%) plants are endemic in the research area. The main top 10 families in the research area in terms of the number of taxa they contain, respectively: Asteraceae 54 (56.98%), Caryophyllaceae 25 (12.95%), Lamiaceae 20 (10.36%), Apiaceae, 16 (8.29%), Rosaceae 15 (7.77%), Poaceae 15 (7.77%), Fabaceae 23 (7.25%), Brassicaceae 14 (7.25%), Boraginaceae 11 (5.69%), Rubiaceae 10 (5.18%). A total of 22 (7.45%) endemic taxa were identified in the study area. The endemic taxa distributions are as follows: 1 taxa endangered "EN", 2 taxa Vulnerable "VU", 15 taxa of Least Concern "LR (Ic)", 3 taxa endangered " LR(nt) ", 2 taxa data is insufficient for " LR(lc) " and 1 taxa that require conservation measures are " DD ", The distribution of 295 taxa detected in the study area according to phytogeographic regions is as follows: Multi-Regional 148 (50%), Iran-Turanian element 120 (40.54%), Euro-Siberian element 15 (5.06%), Mediterranean element 13 (4.39%) In the study area Distribution of identified taxa according to Raunkiaer life forms system: Hemicryptophytes 173 (59.65%), Therophytes 34 (11.72%), Cryptophytes 22 (7.58%), Kamephytes 38 (13.10%) and Phanerophytes 23 (7.93%)
