Abstract (EN)

In this study, the effects of prolongation of daylight on the growth parameters of rainbow trout was investigated. Three pools were used in the experiment and the pools were divided into three. 2700 rainbow trout were used in this study. Three different photoperiod regimens (18L/6D, 24L/6D and control group) were applied to the rainbow trout until they were fed 2,3,4 times a day. After the 125 days, the average inital weight of the fish were 31.39±0.26g and they reached (18L/6D) 272.03±3.49g., (24L/0D) 271.65±3.92g. and (control group) 255.22±3.61g respectively. The FCR values in A,B,C groups were calculated as 0.987, 0.890 and 1.13 respectively. The highest survival rate was found in group A(18L/6D). When analyzed the fish meat analysis, the best group in terms of crude protein in control group (C). When the condition factor was examined, the best result was determined in group B (24L/0D). As a result of research, it was found that the application of the 18L/6D light regime had a positive effect on the growth and development performance of rainbow trout.
