Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to reveal the effect of voluntary simple life on consumption style. In addition, it will be tried to determine whether the voluntary lifestyle and consumption style differ according to the socio-demographic characteristics of the participants. The research data were got by using face-to-face and online survey method on 500 participants aged 18 and over living in the city center of Elazig. Quantitative research method was used in the research. The obtained data were obtained by SPSS 2022 method. As a result of the research, it was determined that the behaviors of the participants againsts voluntary simple living were effective on their consumption styles. In addition, it was concluded that the simple life and consumption style of the volunteers differ according to the demographic characteristics of the participants and their educational status.
