Abstract (EN)

In this study, the characterization of graphene oxides synthesized by oxidation of graphite and coal by Hummers method was performed. Afterwards; graphene oxide obtained from graphite and coal oxidation dispersions was prepared and water-induced performances were analyzed statistically by the full factorial experimental design method. The characterization of graphene oxide synthesized from coal was performed by Raman spectroscopy and Atomic force microscopy (AFM). In the AFM analysis, the average surface roughness of graphene oxide obtained from coal was determined as 17.68 nm, while the average surface roughness of graphene oxide from graphite was determined as 12.90 nm. Raman and AFM analysis showed that graphene oxide from the coal were successful synthesized. According to the graphite-induced graphene oxide dispersions, the coal-induced graphene oxide dispersions has a higher value of 14.95% in particle size; 693.98 % in conductivity; but also has a lower value of 17.91% in the zeta potential; 0.15% in thermal conductivity and 1.27% in viscosity. The rate of improvement in conductivity showed that it could use coal instead of graphite in the preparation of stable dispersions. The determined high conductivity showed that stable dispersions from coal were useful for conductive ink applications.
