The concept of imagery animated by the material and process in contemporary art

The field of art has advanced through its interactions concerning how civilizations and communities lived from the past to the present tense. With these mutual interactions and the use of materials followed technical advancements, and the fundamental structure of art was built by associating the observable and sensory elements in this process of experience. Aligned with a variety of orientations and defining values differing in expression, the human process of interpreting the realm of imagery has revealed the reality of the "dreamt" in the process of art-making. Today, this "reservoir" of different interpretations and the seeking for the new continue to exist synchronously with new perspectives. The field of art is a reflection of the artists' take on the expression of creativity and different ideas, thus the imagery conveyed in line with their characteristics are embodied in the given thought and concepts. This research covers the concept of imagery in terms of the different expansions revealed in artistic emergencies and the impressions they leave on the artist, the extent and quality of application. Although the focus is on the evolution of image, artist's emotional state of being during art-making process and the effect of the space in line with the material have also been taken into account. In this respect, innovations and alternatives brought about by interdisciplinary interaction, and the contribution of technology to the artist in contemporary art has been studied. The purpose and scope of the research is to investigate the use of materials and different methods, the new meaning value and effect of the object, whilst taking into account the perceptual values of the concept of creative imagination and imagery in contemporary art. This research aims to clarify by referring to the process of art-making, its effects on the Artist, and the psychoanalytic tendencies. In this context, this research primarily deals with the formation of the imagery within the scope of perception.
