Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, the interaction of charged particles in the planets and their moon's atmospheres of solar system with solar wind propagating through the interplanetary medium and the auroral activity which is the result of this interaction were investigated. At first, information was given about high-energy particles in the solar wind and particles in the extreme ultraviolet region. Then, the conditions for the planets to have atmosphere and magnetic field are mentioned. The planets' ionospheres were examined. The formation of aurora which seen on earth-like and giant-gas planets has been mentioned and compared for each planet. The implementation has made within this thesis, auroral activity caused by coronal mass pulses and sunspot activity were examined for the last two sunspot cycles. It has found to be coronal activity correlated with sunspot activity. Correlation coefficients between geomagnetic activity and auroral activity have calculated. It has concluded that the Kp index had a higher dependence on auroral power in the 23rd solar cycle. The variation of auroral power and solar wind velocity depending on the seasons has investigated. Mean auroral power velocity and mean solar wind velocity have calculated on 21 March-23 September (equinox) and 21 June-21 December (solstice). It has found that both parameters have a higher value on the equinox periods. The equinoctial assumption had an impact on this results. Key Words: Solar wind, interplanetary medium, auroras on Earth, auroras on other planets.
