Abstract (EN)
In this study, a photovoltaic (PV) system, oriented at different angles with respect to the ground ("Direction1: 0°.0, zenith", "Direction2: 60°.0", "Direction3: 45°.0", "Direction4: 37°.0", and "Direction5: 30°.0") in the south direction, was designed to measure the total solar energy in Osmaniye (37°.04 D, 36.°22 K) and measurements have been started on September 1, 2022. In particular, the direction of one of the PVs ("Direction4: 37°.0") is chosen at approximately the same angle with the geographical latitude of Osmaniye. Solar energy data measured in volt per minute were collected for one year (September 2022 - August 2023) using the MS6D data logging system. The PV data were calibrated with the data measured simultaneously Eppley B&W Pyranometer. All PV data measured in volts per minute were then analyzed hourly, daily, monthly and annually in W/m2. Yearly global radiation components obtained from daily data in the five different orientations ("0°.0", "60°.0", "45°.0", "37°.0", and "30°.0") were calculated to be 127207.84 W/m2, 146553.52 W/m2, 156669.99 W/m2, 158409.81 W/m2 and 155931.26 W/m2, respectively. In addition, monthly average total global solar radiation values were obtained to be 346.16 W/m2, 416.99 W/m2, 439.91 W/m2, 444.85 W/m2 ve 439.03 W/m2, respectively. Examined the hourly, daily, monthly and yearly total global energy values, the highest solar energy was measured with the photovoltaic systems in the "37°.0", "30°.0" and "45°.0" directions, respectively, whereas the lowest was measured with the "0°.0" direction. These results are very important for solar energy measurements.
