Abstract (EN)
With the inclusion of tecnology in human life, changing living standards and the universalization of communication are reflected in many areas. Since communication takes place between individuals, the concept of identity has gained a new dimension. The shaping of the concept of identity according to digital environments is questioned through both reality and visual perception. Visual perception is in a continuous development with the widespread use of social media in the digital world. The basisof this development is based on photography. Technology, which is directly related to art with the invention of photography, has reached completely different dimensions with the invention of the internet. Technology has also been influential in shaping areas such as photorealism, hyperrealism and simulation reality, where photography is used, over time. In this process, where transportation and communication accelerate, the spread of art and the rapid emergence of new trends and reaching much wider masses are one of the opportunities offered by technology. However, this rapid communication has changed the perspectives on the works that are describedas Contemporary Art today. In this process, in which aesthetic perception was questioned, the objects of modern life and digital identities were depicted as illustrative and art ideas that questioned reality as well as beauty emerged. Contemporary Art is going through a completely different process with the fact that many works in the world, art events, artist profiles are easily accessible thanks to technology and the creation of platforms where ideas can be put forward. However, technology can be used as a means of expression in art by some artists such as Chuck Close. Today's artists question the virtuality that enters our lives with technology in their works and seek reality.
