The re-functioning process of Hadim Hasan Pasa madrasah and evaluation in terms of interior

In this thesis titled ?The Re-Functioning Process Of Hadim Hasan Pasa Madrasah And Evaluation In Terms Of Interior? examples, challenges in preparation for the future and solution offers, principally the general madrasah concept and its history and operation system are studied. Then the madrasahs constructed in Istanbul in the 16th century are detailed.Detailed surveys of Hadım Hasan Paşa Madrasah were prepared. During the restitution project phase of Hadım Hasan Paşa Madrasah; with the detection of the traces on the building and the current condition of the building under the light of the survey drawings, the original condition of the building was tried to be determined by examining the written and visual documents and other madrasah examples constructed within the same period.During restitution phase, the other madrasahs constructed earlier than Hadım Hasan Paşa Madrasah in the same period were examined in order to obtain information on the building parts amended or destroyed in time. These buildings were reviewed on written and visual sources and evaluation tables were arranged. Architectural characteristics and current conditions of the buildings were defined in detail in the tables.In the restoration project of Hadım Hasan Paşa Madrasah, the necessary interventions for the repair of the building in accordance with the restitution project and its new function were identified and plan, siding, section and three dimensional drawings were prepared. Revival of Hadım Hasan Paşa Madrasah was aimed at by commissioning a new function. With this new function, the necessary interior architecture furnishing and settlement suggestion project was prepared.Key Words: Madrasahs, Hadım Hasan Pasa, Restoration, Reuse.
