Abstract (EN)

In terms of word meaning, all words and phrases of a language or words in a particular area, given according to the abece order of words and phrases used in a certain period, the works that describe the meanings and their counterparts in other languages are called dictionaries. In addition to being in the literary memory of a nation, dictionaries have an important place in Turkish Culture and literature. One of these dictionaries is prepared by translation in the 18th century "Hecsü'l-Hâcis ve Hemsü'n-Nâ'is" which is important for sufism literature. The aim of this study is that of the poet / historian / statesman Hâkim Seyyid Mehmed Efendi's who lived in the 18th century "Hecsü'l-Hâcis and Hemsü'n-Na'is" according to the scientific methods of the translation work prepared in the field of lexicography to create a text that may be the source of the work. Seyyid Mehmed Efendi, who knows advanced Arabic and Persian, the work translated from İbnü'l-Arabî, It is noteworthy for its inclusion of Sufî terms and its preparation in a manzum-mensur manner. Just as every profession has a language, Sufism has its own language. It is important for Sufis to have an understandable language network among themselves and to give importance to it in terms of the Sufism movement. Sufi terms that make up our work, it is composed of the terms that have taken their place within this language network. It is important to introduce the method used in this lexicology, which is unusually prepared given the lexicology tradition, to the world of Science and to introduce the terms of Sufism in the work into the sufi literature. In the study, the life literary personality and works of Hâkim Sayyid Mehmed Efendi are given general information about the terms Sufism and Sufism. After that, general information about Turkish lexicography tradition, Ottoman lexicography tradition, lexicography tradition after the Republic and Tafi dictionaries of the Republican period were given. Three copies of the work identified, Istanbul Millet Library Ali Emiri copy was based on the main copy in the comparable text and transferred to today's Latin letters in accordance with the scientific transcription system. After the comparative text has been prepared, the work has been examined in terms of its shape and content.
