Abstract (EN)

In this study, Galeodes araneoides (Pallas, 1772) and Galeodes toelgi Werner, 1922 solifuge species belonging to the Galeodidae family collected from different localities of Hakkari province in the Spring-Summer seasons of 2019-2020 years were evaluated. The taxonomies of idetified species and detailed external morphology were presented. Galeodes araneoides (Pallas, 1772) is spread over a wide area and shows interspecific variations in terms of color and body size. Galeodes toelgi Werner 1922 was recorded from Hakkari province for the first time. The sensilla and suticular structures of chelicerae, pedipalps and walking legs were examined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) in male and female Galeodes araneoides (Pallas, 1772) species. In total six types of sensilla have been identified with different subtypes; Microtrichia, Sensilla ampullacea, Sensilla basiconica, Sensilla chaetica, Sensilla trichodea and Slit sensillum. The functional morphology was interpreted by associating their location, general morphology and behavior in the habitat. The have been idetified as chemoreceptors and mechanoreceptors.
