Abstract (EN)

This investigations carried out abaut identificication of high quality wild pear genotyps in hakkarı. In the five williges , natural growing high quality wild pear trees selected and some pomologıcal and chemical analysis carrıed out.At the end find, soluble solids, total TA and some fruit specialitıes such as fruit weıght act. There have been all fruıt selection studies in various regions of Turkey. In these studies, researchers consider various fruit quality criteria for selecting good genotypes. In this study quantitative fruit quality criteria were investigated through Principle Component Analysis (PCA) in this research. The aim was that to make data reduction to suggest standard selection criteria using in selection studies, and to reduce work loud of researchers. In this study, average values of some characteristics such as fruit width, fruit length, fruit height, seed number, seed width, seed height, and some biochemical charecters. While two or three principle components were obtained for conducting PCA, the first component occupied the largest portion of the variation. Some quantitative fruit characteristics such that fruıtt weight, width, length, seed weight were observed to come forward as discriminating selecting criteria in this variation.
