Abstract (EN)
In this study, nonlinear vibrations of beam and plate structures under moving mass effect are investigated by using analytical and numerical methods. Euler Bernoulli, functionally graded and viscoelastic beam models and Kirchoff, functionally graded and viscoelastic plate models are investigated. Equations of motion for the beam and plate structures are obtained by Lagrange Method. Analytical solutions are found by Galerkin Method and the Method of Multiple Scales (a Perturbation Method). Numerical solutions are obtained by Finite Element Method and Differential Quadrature method. It is shown that the results of analytical and numerical methods give high convergence.
