The statue quo?s reflection to the Islam has been destructivecriticism and various scientific activities against these threats were realized. In thisthesis we studied Ishak Hodja?s theological ideas who was from Harput and who wasone of the scientists of the Ottoman period and we tried to put out his struggle in apolitical perspektive.Key words: Islam, theology, Ishak Hodja who was from Harput.
