Abstract (EN)

People are increasing day by day their impact on nature and land use patterns are changing. However, changes in land use also affects the level of expected functions, such as improving the water efficiency of natural ecosystems. Understanding the factors that influence it by temporal changes in population due to growing would remain insufficient to meet the needs of natural resources, starting with the provision in the recent past and even today a faster ongoing land use is very important. In this study, Hasanlar dam watershed (78973 ha) 3 plan for the period between 1986-2010 years stand maps, using GIS in computer digitized, to determine the forms of land use between the years 1986-2010, temporal changes in land use to calculate the areal who have tried to reveal the reason for the change impact on water efficiency in the Hasanlar dam. Classification of forest land use patterns (leaves and coniferous, mixed, bad), forest soil, nuts, agriculture, pasture and other areas including temporal variations were analyzed and divided into 6 groups. In 1998, 63 961 ha of forest area increased from 62 817 ha in 1986, and decreased to 62 637 ha in 2010. forest land area decreased of 753 ha in 1986 from 1998 to 1375 ha and 2355 ha in 2010, it has increased. Nuts areas declined in 1998, from 3423 ha to 3585 ha in 1986, but because of the hazelnut fields of management plans in 2010 to be included in the agricultural field areal size could not be determined. Agricultural areas decreased in 1998 from 8326 ha to 8782 ha in 1986, with the inclusion of the agricultural area of the nut area in 2010 has increased to 11899 ha. Pasture areas 267 ha in 1986, in 1998 has increased to 415 ha and 613 ha in 2010 ha. Other areas in 1986 from 2147 ha to 2094 ha in 1998 and in 2010 decreased to 1468 ha. In the period between 1985-2010 the average annual rainfall in the study area 958hm3, the part gathered in this dam and the average runoff coefficient 397hm3 average to 41%. Melen project is carried by water from Hasanlar dam to Istanbul. Therefore both water efficiency as hydrological change of land use may affect the quality of water in the Hasanlar dam watershed, forest, agriculture, pasture, forest land, other areas and the control of changes in the demographic structure, efficiency and quality of water is necessary to ensure minimum impact on the way these changes.
