Abstract (EN)

In this study was investigated the effect of postharvest Salicylic acid, Oxalic acid, Putrecine, and Calcium treatments on during cold storage life Black Diamond and Autumn Giant plum cultivars. After treatments, plums were placed in modified atmosphere packing (MAP) and stored at 0,5 ±0,5°C and 85-95% relative humidity conditions for 40 days. In order to determine the fruit quality characteristics after treatments, weight loss, soluble solids content, titratable acidity, fruit firmness, ascorbic acid, total flavonoids, total phenolics, total antioxidant content, gas compositions in MAP, decay rate, external appearance and internal browning analysis were performed at 10 days intervals. Considering all measurements and evaluations, Salicylic acid and Putrecine treatments have shown positive effect on fruit quality and biochemical contents of Black Diamond and Autumn Giant plum cultivars during storage than other treatments.
