Abstract (EN)

One of the basic needs for energy to survive today is energy. Constantly growing industry, accelerating technological developments cause increase of energy need. For this reason, energy resources need to be used efficiently in order to respond to the increasing energy demand. However, in recent years fossil fuel resources have started to run out, worrying the countries of the world. So the countries have been searching for alternative energy sources. They are eco-friendly, fast from production consumption and work to produce energy from endless energy sources. Energy production needs to increase in direct proportion to the increase in energy consumption. Countries that are heading towards renewable energy sources have recovered their initial investment costs in the short term by meeting their energy needs and energy needs without problems, even if their initial investment costs are high. In geographic regions where Turkey has a fairly favorable position in terms of the potential of renewable energy sources. Agriculture and livestock are at the forefront of livelihoods, as they are close to the equator and the wind potential is high. In other words, it supports renewable energy in socioeconomic conditions. Therefore, there is a considerably high energy potential when evaluating the existing conditions. In this study: Turkey hosts the most important energy biogas production potential of the province of Hatay within one of its potential were examined. In Hatay, which is rapidly developing in the industrial field, many works have started to be done about energy production. One of the important livelihood sources is the high biogas energy potential which should be assessed due to being agriculture and animal husbandry. Under the existing conditions in Hatay province, 52,156,774.06 m3 of biogas are produced annually from animal wastes. By evaluating this biogas, 244.31 GWh of energy production is realized. With the production of biogas energy, 211,490 ton- CO2 will be prevented. The plant cost required for biogas energy production is 234,900,000 TL. With the establishment of a power plant in Hatay province, the facility repays itself in 3.5 years with the passing of energy production.
