Hatay yöresi Tekcrom Maden A.Ş krom işletmesi triyaj artiklarinin zenginleştirilebilirliğinin araştirilmasi

In this study, chromite ore samples were taken from hand sorting tailings of Tekcrom Mining Company which is located in İskenderın (Belen), Hatay. The samples were investigated under gravity methods to determine enrichment possibilities. The experiments of shaking table and MGS (multi Gravity Separator) were performed as processing methods. XRD analysis showed that the tailings mainly contain magnesiochromite, chromite, clinochlore, lizardite and antigorite minerals. According to the XRF analysis, tailings are contained of 29,09% MgO, 1,47% Al2O3, 34,14% SiO2, 14,55% Cr2O3. The Sample worked at the study divided into four dimensional fractions as -1.000+500 µm, -500+212 µm, -212+106 µm and -106+53 µm. While the samples whose particle sizes are over +53 µm were tested at the shaking table, the other samples whose particle sizes are under -53 µm were tested with MGS. The samples had -500 µm dimensions were able to enrich 49,95% Cr2O3 by shaking table test. The best result of MGS experiments was 44.78% Cr2O3 grade by optimum conditions (200 rpm, 2° drum slope, 15mm amplitude, 10% solids ratio with 2 L/min flow rate and wash water 2 L/min).
