It is necessary while producing efficient and quality animal production, reducing production cost at the same time. One of significant cost is energy. The most intensive energy used in animal production is dairy farm. In this research, it was aimed that reducing energy consume at water heating system used in dairy farms. Solar panel as a kind of renewable energy was used for this aim. Determination of energy saving level was determined by measuring before the panel installation and after installation energy consume at the example farm. This research was held in a dairy farm located in Suleymanpaşa, Tekirdağ. The results were fallows; before the panel installation energy consume was 17,625 kWh/day and the after installation it was reduced as 13,329 kWh/day. Saving ratio was 24,374%. Solar collector which used with limited number will be definitely used widely after publishing this thesis in future.
