Abstract (EN)

German playwright Heiner Müller is known as a playwright who broke the dramatic pattern of the theater and made radical changes in the conventional, 'conventional' theater perception by feeding on various works and playwrights before him in the middle of the 20th century. In this thesis, the structural breaks and changes that took place in the theater until the Heiner Müller period and which formed the basis of Heiner Müller will be followed, and the ways and methods of breaking this linear, 'linear' theater structure of Heiner Müller, which lasted until the middle of the 18th century, will be examined. The deconstruction of Heiner Müller in his plays Hamlet Machine written in 1977, Picture Description written in 1984 and Medea Material written in 1981 will be examined. Heiner Müller's methods of writing these plays and how he positions the scene and text elements will be analyzed.
