Abstract (EN)
With the rapid increase in digitalization today, social media platforms have become significant tools in both personal and professional life. Nurses working in the healthcare sector have also been influenced by this digital transformation and have started using social media for various purposes. Nurses utilize these platforms for professional knowledge sharing, education, communication, and providing social support. The impact of social media on nurses job performance is discussed in both positive and negative aspects. This thesis examines the social media usage habits of nurses and evaluates the effects of this usage on work efficiency and professional performance. This study was conducted to evaluate the social media usage and job performance of nurses working in a hospital group operating in Istanbul.
