Hidayet-i Uyun ( İnceleme-Metin )

We tried to analyze the work we named ?Hidayeti?l-Uyun (Examination-Text)?, in terms of religious and sufistic literature by giving the transcribed text of this work.Our study consists of four parts including introduction part. We tried to explain why we chose this subject in the introduction part.Because we thought that this work was written by a lover of Kızıldeli, we explained Seyyid Ali Sultan?s legendary life in the first section, making use of velayet-nâme?s point of view which is commemorated with his own name. And then we did a study that sheds light on his historical personality. We did this so we would be able to understand this person?s influence area. It was indicated in the analyzed copy that this work belonged to Seyyid Ali Sultan; but as a result of our study, we ascertained that this work belongs to Giritli Ali Resmî Baba who was one of the servants of Kızıldeli (Seyyid Ali Sultan). Based on limited number of the resources we reached, we gave brief information about the author. In the second section, the importance of Hidayeti?l-Uyun was emphasized by presenting the content of the work. Afterwards, religious and sufistic concepts? analysis in the work was done.
