Abstract (EN)
Until phenomenology, the seek for truth has emerged with a more theoretically based definition rather than scientific certainty. However, by the 20th century, Husserl recognized a problematic point here and put forward a thesis that truth should be scientifically precise in phenomenology. With this thesis, Husserl was recognized as the founding philosopher of the phenomenological method by enhancing the concepts contributed by his mentor Brentano. He proposed the epoché method in phenomenology as the method of reaching truth and indicated the stages of the way to truth. In the first part of the thesis, after mentioning the claims about truth, we will discuss phenomenology as a method while in the second part we will give explanations on how it manifests in other disciplines. In the conclusion, after commenting on the claims of phenomenology in the context of truth, we will emphasize the difficulties and contributions of the phenomenological method. The main claim of this thesis is to address the claims of seek for truth in phenomenology in general and to conclude by suggesting some solutions after putting forward the problems of how phenomenology emerged as a method.
