Abstract (EN)
In this study, in vitro micropropagation (by tissue culture growth) and total hypericin content of Hypericum scabroides Robson&Poulter (Guttiferae) were studied. The seeds were cultured on Murashige and Skoog (MS) (1962) medium containing 0.055, 0.011 and 0.0165 ?M BAP together with a hormone free medium as a control. The best germination percentage were obtained from the control group (BAP free) and 0.0165 ?M BAP medium. It was also determined that the process of stratification was raised germination percentage of the cultured seeds. The MS medium containing 0.0275 ?M BAP was the best for proliferation of axillary shoots. In addition, the effects of Giberellik acid (GA3) was studied on shoot development. The best of growth was obtained from MS medium containing 0.29 ?M GA3 . As results of this study , hypericin contents of naturally growth and in vitro growth plants were investigated. In both treatments were obtained not enought contained hypericin. Keywords: Hypericum scabroides, Hypericin, Micropropagation, proliferation
