The measures aimed at protecting the family in the Sunnah of the Prophet

Parallel to the negative developments experienced by families in the world, families in our country. also have problems. On account of the impact of modernization we live in a world where marriages are reduced whereas divorce and marriage age are increased. The negative impact of this situation makes you feel it more each day. It is important to know how our religion is interested in families and gives value to them. To understand the values that keep families alive will help us to reconsider our family lives and to show the true path for couples to be married beforehand. In this study measures of the prophet Muhammed to protect the family are investigated. The study consists of three parts. In the first part, wife or husband selection, engagement period, the religious foundations about wedding and moral laws for the family to be established are discussed. In the second part precautions of our prophet about protecting family peace and union are examined as far as we can. The effect of these measures on protecting the family are included as well. Third part is focused on the domestic problems of families and offers for solutions. In every aspect of life, knowing the applications of the prophet about his administration of family relationships and his protection of human rights will open a new horizon on how the rules of our religion can be applicated to our lives.
