Hizir bin Mehmed Amasi and his books Gusûnü'l-Usûl and şerhi Tehîcu Gusûni'l-usul

Our work themed Hızır bin Mehmed Amâsî and His Books Gusûnü'l-Usûl and Tehîcu Gusûni'l-Usul consists of three chapters. In the first chapter, we introduced Menâru'l Envâr which is the summary of Gusunü'l Usul and its author Ebu'l Berekat En- Nesefi. Therefore, we established the background information for smoother comprehension. The second chapter is allocated to the presentation of the life of Hızır bin Mehmed Amasi and his work Gusunü'l Usul. The background information about the political and academic aspects of his era will facilitate the understanding of the context of how he developed his scholarly career. Amari's life was explained in detail from his birth until his death. Also; his scholarly works, his students, his family, and his accomplishments were explained in this part. There is also a comparative analysis between Gusunü'l Usul and Menâru'l Envâr. In the third chapter, there is the full text of Gusunü'l Usul. In certain parts, there is the problem of reading due to the historical handwriting. This problem was overcome through a comparison between different versions of the text. In the recomposition of the text, we added chapters and titles by paying attention to the contextual background.
