Abstract (EN)

SUMMARY Master Thesis İBN-İ KEMAL'S LIFE, WORKS AND THE IDEAS ON DESTINY Celal BAYDEMIR The University of Firat Social Sciences Institute Basic Islamic Sciences Theology Branch 2004, Page: III+l 03 Ibn-i Kemal, whose original name was Kemal, the son of Süleyman, the son of Semseddin Ahmet, was born in 873/1459 in Tokat region and he was one of Maturidi scholars İbn-i Kemal wrote many books on various subjects such as history, philosophy, kelam, Quran's interpretation, hadith, Islamic law, language and literature. He wrote all his books in Turkish, Arabic and Persian. İbn-i Kemal who hat many books on Islamic subject, also wrote about kelam subjects. In our study, we examined his books "R. fi 'l-Cebr ve 'l-Kader " a book on kelam. Our study consists of four parts. In the first part, we mentioned the life of İbn-i Kemal, in the second part his works, in the third part his enlightened personality and in the last part his ideas on destiny. İbn-i Kemal, in his book emphasized the knowledge and desire of Allah and added that the destiny doesn't have enforcement. He also mentioned about Levh-i Mahfuz and death.
