To assess the sayings about paradise in Ibn Kayyim el-Cevziyye's work titled Hâdi'l-Efrâh ilâ Bilâdi'l-Efrah

This study presents and discusses the sayings about paradise in Ibn el-Kayyim?swork titled Hâdi?l-Ervâh İlâ Bilâdi?l-Efrâh . It analyses the rumours on paradise whollyan unknown subject and deals with, in a neutral manner, the rumours,which is notcompatible with the principles based on the Qur?an and real sayings in the frame ofsaying-methodologhy. The research is comprised mainly of an introduction and threeparts.A general evaluation of Hâdi?l-Ervâh and Bilâdi?l-Efrâh?s works and detailedexplanations will be done in the introduction part. İbn Kayyim, who was the master ofthis work, had a comprehensive information about İslâmic sciences and the workspublished earlier than his own period. That had been exalting the personality of him, aswell. That Ibn Kayyim was critical and researcher caused him to examine throughly thesayings which he gathered in Hâdi?l-Ervâh.In the first part, ıt gives information about İbn Kayyim el-Cevziyye?s life, works,determination on his belief, educators and pupils. Ibni Kayyim, who was great master inthat epoch, left back huge works and brought up talented instructors.In the second section, It has been dealt with the concept of paradise and the partswhich is highly relevant to the paradise in the source of saying. It also gives accurateinformations about the paradise in the Qur?an and in divine religions. It is a joint beliefand ideal that all people wish to reach the paradise in the life after deathIn the third chapter, the rumours relating to the paradise in the work titledHâdi?l-Ervâh have been done the topic of research and these rumours have been studiedfrom the point of viev of text and ıts sequences.
