Abstract (EN)

In this study, the situation of the non-existents, especially the impossible, which we think did not receive sufficient attention throughout our history of thought, is examined by focusing on the philosophy of Avicenna. First, a general description of the non-existent in the pre-Avicenna period is presented, then the concepts of the non-existent and the impossible are discussed in relation to the concepts of existence, essence and possibility in the philosopher's system. Following the analysis of the non-existent and the impossible, questions such as how non-existent things occur in the soul and how they become universally intelligible are answered by following the comprehension process of fictional forms. Finally, the relationship between Active Mind and forms is discussed in terms of the emergence of fictional forms/beings.
