Abstract (EN)
Water supply systems are designed to supply daily water need of settling areas. It is possible that within a system, the friction occuring between the water and the pipe, the water leaks at the pipe connection points, illegal pipe connections, water usage without gauge to occur. In the past, the calibration through using the flourine concentrations in the system has been functioned on the fictitous water supply network (Özdemir and Uçaner, 2007). In this thesis, there have been various developments on the program used before, and it has been used on a real water supply network. The EPANET software was consulted in order to gain the hydraulic equations and flourine distributions within the system. The Genetic Algorithm program which was enhanced, benefits from the Toolkit functions which are present in EPANET. Known water usage values within the system have been randomly changed through the fact that their summations be constant. Depending on this, the water usage values have been postulated as unknown. In the computer model (fictitous) the acceptable levels of flourine concentration was added to the system and the distribution of the concentration through time was examimed. The system has been analyzed getting hypothetical flourine readings from least node points possible. Through the analysis, the distorted water usages have been found.
