A thematic approach to İhsan Deniz's poems

İhsan Deniz is one of the prominent poets who emerged after 1980, distinguished by his unique style and distinct mode of expression, with metaphysical elements prominently featured in his poems. To date, he has published 15 poetry books, written columns for the newspaper Yeni Şafak, and his articles have been published in Bürde, Yönelişler, and İpek Dili Seçkisi. Embracing a mystical-metaphysical style in his poetry, İhsan Deniz explores a wide range of themes, from death to loneliness. The purpose of this study is to reveal İhsan Deniz's perception of poetry and his poetic style. İhsan Deniz, who delves deeply into poetry both in terms of content and form, views poetry as a breathing space for himself. Actively involved in the world of poetry from 1980 to the present, İhsan Deniz's poems are analyzed thematically. In the first section of this study, information about the poet's life and art is provided, while the second section offers a thematic approach to his poems.
