Abstract (EN)

Today, AA5083 and AA6013 aluminum alloys among wrought aluminum alloys are widely used in aerospace, shipbuilding and automotive industries. As a result of literature search, it has been found that 5083 alloy comes to the fore in uses requiring resistance and corrosion endurance, whereas 6013 alloy comes to the fore in uses requiring shaping and welding abilities. Moreover, it is known that the endurance properties of 6013 alloy can be improved by means of ageing; in contrast 5083 alloy is not heat treatable and can be hardened by cold shaping. These two alloys, which differ from each other from the point of view of weldability, endurance properties and being convenient for heat treatment, are welded by TIG welding method with two different electrodes (AISi12 ? AISi5) and six different sample parameters have been obtained as 5083-AISi12-5083, 5083-AISi5-5083, 6013-AISi12-6013, 6013-AISi5-6013, 5083-AISi12-6013, 5083-AISi-6013. The micro-hardness scans of the samples have been compared by analyzing the results of tension, chapry and three point bending experiments. In addition to these, a part of welding samples 6013-AISi12-6013, 6013-AISi5-6013, 5083-AISi12-6013, 5083-AISi5-6013 which consist of 6013 alloy have been exposed to ageing heat treatment, hardness scanned and charpy and three point bending results have been analyzed by being compared to previous results.
