Abstract (EN)

In this study, the risk analysis of Adana agricultural productivity, which is caused by the weather parameters and environmental problems changing as a result of climate change, was carried out by the risk matrix method. The risk matrix table has been created and interpreted by applying the risk matrix steps. Identifying climate variables and estimating their risks are the core of the study. Climate change variability confidence level was obtained by reviewing the data obtained from IPPC 5th Evaluation Report (IPCC, 2013) and Meteorology 6th Regional Directorate. The level of trust in projections and forecasts was obtained by reviewing the projection studies carried out by the General Directorate of Meteorology and by reviewing the IPCC 5th Evaluation Report (IPCC, 2013). All cells in the risk matrix indicated the effect of the Adana province on key factors in the context of agriculture. The impact of the specified climate change variables varies between "high" and "low". While 13 (34%) cells in the matrix were recorded as "high" effect, 22 (56%) cells as "medium" effect, 3 (7,9%) cells had a "low" effect on the key factor items in the agricultural sector of Adana. These results revealed that climate change factors will have negative effects on Adana agriculture.
