Çankırı according to records of the provincial general assembly between 1924-1933 years

The aim of this study, which is prepared as a master thesis, is; According to the minutes of the Çankırı Provincial Assembly, published in the Çankırı newspaper between 1922 and 1933, the status of the Çankırı province was examined and the findings obtained by the minutes were examined under various headings. The study was started with the date of the province of Çankırı and the period until 1933 was discussed. The thesis consists of three sections of introduction. In the introduction part of the thesis, the concepts of press and media and the administration of the provinces and provinces in the Ottoman Empire period were given. In the first part, the formation of the Tanzimat Period and the formation of the parliamentary tradition in the Ottoman Empire were discussed. In the second chapter, the works and works in the Çankırı (1922-1933) Province were examined according to the minutes of the Provincial Assembly. These are gathered under topics such as education, health, agriculture, public works and transportation issues, economy. In the third chapter, the budgets of Çankırı were discussed according to the minutes of the Provincial Assembly. In the minutes, the activities of Çankırı province in the fields of education, public works and transportation, the developments in the fields of economy, agriculture and animal husbandry, modernization efforts and the difficulties encountered, health, social issues and budget issues have been mentioned. In this study, data were obtained about the general situation of the Çankırı province in the period. It was concluded that each member of the council who attended the Assembly meeting carried the problems and demands in his region to the parliamentary agenda.
