Veda, ÖZCAN. In The Context Of City And District, the Comparative Of The Strategic Planning Studies Of Artvin And Şavşat High Schools, Graduate Degree Thesis, Trabzon, 2018. With the increase in economic developments and the acceleration of the changes in technology, institutional structures also bring about a constant change in management structures. In this context, strategic planning studies and the strategic planning process are transformed into effective frameworks. Educational institutions should also develop strategic planning studies in order to have an effective qualification in this process. Observing forms used in the study were applied to the teachers and managers of Artvin İskebe Anatolian High School in 2015-2016 academic year. As the school's name has been changed to Social Sciences High School in 2016-2017 academic year by The Ministry of National Education, the school's new name is going to be used in the later parts. Within the scope of this study, the process of realizing the strategic plan studies of Artvin Social Sciences High School and Şavşat Anatolian High School in the context of province and district and the comparison of the strategic plans of these two schools are provided. The main aim of this study is to determine the opinions of the individuals regarding the applications of the strategic plans realized in the schools by considering the difference of province and district in terms of the Anatolian high schools. Within the scope of the research, in direction of answers for the guestionnaire study, it has been determined that teachers do not have effective ideas about the strategic planning process and the number of teachers involved in the strategic process is very few. It has been found that school managers are active at strategic planning, but teachers are not. When the work is evaluated on province and district basis, it is seen that the strategic plans are more systematic than the ones prepared on the provincial basis.
