Abstract (EN)

In recent years, the migration phenomenon not only in the world but also in Turkey remarks as a work area for a very academic discipline. Important social movement migration reasons, consequences, the adaptation of migrants to the new space they went, their relations with the new social structure are the important questions searched for. With Syria civil war in 2012, a massive migration movement began and a long border neighbor Turkey has admitted four million immigrants. That's why Turkey is the one who let in immigrants the most. According to the official reports of December 13, 2019, the number of immigrants in Gaziantep, one of the borders of the provinces with Syria, is 453,379. Young immigrants who came to Gaziantep settled according to their economic, social and cultural levels before migration; it can be said that the processes of identity formation and existence as a subject are substantiated with to these elements. At the same time, there is a special deprivation inflicting from immigration should also be considered. It does not seem possible to talk about the processes of creating identity and subjectivity of young people who are economically, socially and culturally in deprivation. In general, migrants who have found the opportunity to be in an environment where they can feel safe, overcome these processes with minimal damage If it is possible to experience the geographic location and the social space surrounding, a process of subjectivity which is related to space can be mentioned. Although Gaziantep is the one who a city welcomes immigrants, however even them always remind the other side that they are foreigners in some way, the Gaziantep city can be noted as a city with cultural code that can accommodate many arguments.
