Social siense of teachers and their faced problems at 7th grade of premary school

This survey was carried out to determine whether social science teachers?steaching methods show difference according to the type of the school and thedepartment they graduated, their occupational seniorities, their in service trainingconditions or not, and if the problems they face with during the social science lessonsshow difference again accordng to their scholls and department they gratuated, theiroccupational seniorities or not. The survey is a descriptive study.In the survey, besides these, social science teachers?s method choice andtheir reasons are also mentioned.104 teachers,who carry out social science lessons at the seventh grade at 84primary education schools connected to National Education Ministry inAfyonkarahisar city and central Town forms the analogy of the survey.The survey was added up with five main parts; introductory problem, theimportance of the survey, conceptual frame, method-findings-interpretations,result and suggestions…The data used in the survey were gathered by a poll that was developped bythe surveyor himself. The data collecting tools and the collected data were analysedin coherence by using frequency (f), percentage (%), T test, variation analysis andKi- square test. Analyses were interpreted by using statistical Package for SocialSciences (SPSS) packet programme.
