Abstract (EN)

The school environment directly affects the physical and social environment and health. The school is an important institution for health services as it is an environment suitable for the development of positive attitudes and behaviors related to health or for the provision of health services collectively. Many screening programs are carried out in schools within the scope of first, second preventive health services. The most important of one is spine health screening. Still life, long sitting periods, increased computer use, heavy and wrong bag carrying habits, posture disorders brought about by the development age, shape defects related to this age-specific kyphosis, lordosis, scoliosis, wing scapula are brought to the agenda. It is also reported that low back pain begins in these ages and the prevalence increases by age. Spinal health screenings in schools are carried out to detect posture disorders in the early period and to prevent or reduce disorders such as kyphosis, lordosis and scoliosis. Various healthcare screenings are performed in secondary school children in our country, but there are few studies indicating spinal health screening and postural changes seen accordingly. The aim of this study is to determine the carrying bags style, the frequency of using computer and posture disorders in primary school children. It is a general summary of this study to determine the spinal curvature of children without exposure to harmful rays with the Spinal Mouse device, whose validity and reliability have been tested, and in which age group these curvatures are more common. It will be a study with relational cross-sectional screening models, which is one of the general screening models used in screening studies. Vakıfbank Secondary School will be conducted on the detection of spinal disorders of first, third and fifth grade students (285 students in total). Spine postures of the subjects will be measured on the sagittal plane with the Spinal Mouse M360 device. The data obtained will be transferred to the computer via bluetooth and evaluated by the Spinal Mouse software. Validity and reliability studies of Spinal Mouse in and between the observers were performed in healthy individuals. The results obtained from the study will be evaluated by statistically appropriate tests.
