Survey method has been used in thiswork which has a descriptive property. It has been applied to opinions of the teachersand a questionnaire has been developed. This questionnaire has been applied to forty-two schools among one hundred and sixty-two primary schools which has been toDiyarbakır city centre by the random method. And also, that has been carried out fourhundred and fifty among among primary school teachers. However, because of theinadequate filling and anyhow pointings three hundred and fifty-four questionnaire havebeen processed. Taken information (dates) has been analysed by SPSS for Windows13.0 programme.At the results of the analyze, ıt has been appeared that initially primary schoolteachers haven,t had any in-service education, the works relating to students personeladvance hasn,t been considered important due to the crowded classes, the strategieswhich will make rich the thoughts of students haven,t been applied enough in theclassroom and teachers couldn,t get rid of the effects of the teacher-centre educations.A lot of difficulties have been appeared in the application relating to reflective thinkingfrom planning to evaluation. To remove these difficulties, suggestions has beenarranged in a certain way as the physical appearence of the school should catch themodern standarts, education programmes should be prepared to advance the person?sreflective thinking end in-service education should be realized in an effective andcontinuously manner.Key Words: Thinking, Reflective Thinking, The Skills of Thought
