In this research, an experimental study has been carried out in order to define the effect of Active Learning Style in teaching subjects of volleyball over learning levels.The question of the research has been defined as ?What are the effects over learning levels of Active Learning Methods and Classical Learning in applying physical education and sports courses at seventh grade of the secondary school?? Minor questions depending on this question are as in the following;1- In teaching the subjects of volleyball in the course of physical education at seventh grade of elementary school, is there a sensible difference between the first test and the last one in a group where Active Learning Methods have been applied?2- In teaching the subjects of volleyball in the course of physical education at seventh grade of elementary school, is there a sensible difference between the first test and the last one in a group where Traditional Teaching Method has been applied?3- In teaching the subjects of volleyball in the course of physical education at seventh grade of elementary school, is there a sensible difference between the group where Active Learning Methods have been applied and the group where Traditional Teaching Method has been applied in terms of general achievement?During the process of experimental study, the unit of volleyball at seventh grade of elementary school is taught to the experimental group with activities which are suitable to the approach to Active Learning; on the other hand, to the control group with the Traditional Teaching Methods.Success evaluation test over the unit of volleyball at seventh grade of elementary school has been applied as the first and last test to the experimental and control groups so as to answer the minor questions of this research.At the result of studies carried out, an advancement of success has been recognized both in the experimental group where the activities which are suitable to Active Learning Methods have been applied and in the control group where Traditional Teaching Methods have been applied, but the advancement of success in the experimental group is defined to be much more than in the control group.As a conclusion, it has been come to an agreement on the view that Active Learning Method provides much more success than Traditional Teaching Methods in teaching Physical Education.
