A research on the factors which affect female teachers? becoming directors: Sample Bağcılar

This research has been done to set the negative effects that affect female teachers?s becoming directors with the use of field search method.The information at the field search has been gathered with the use of the scale ?The Factors Which Affect Negatively Female Teachers Becoming Directors? developed by Lokman Usluer (2000). The scale consists of two parts personal information and related questionnaire.The research enclose 200 teachers who work in Bağcılar,İstanbul.The research sampling has been chosen neutrally and randomly.T-test and one way variance method has been used in analyzing data.As a result of research it has been set that female teachers can not become directors so much because both male and female teachers adopt roles of sexes according to patriarchal lifestyle .Also according to research male teachers adopt more to sex roles comparing to female teachers.According to both male and female teachers female teachers can not become directors so much because of concern of child care time,because there is not so much difference between director and teacher salaries ,because women are reluctant,because woman are brought up with patriarchal lifestyle and because woman don?t trust themselves.Key Words: Female teachers, monitoring, patriarchal lifestyle ,sex of society, transparency.
