Abstract (EN)
To provide food safety security begining with purchasing, it is important to obey the rules on safekeeping, storage, preparing, cooking and timing of service. This research is made to indicate Primary Scholl students? knowledge and behaviours about food safety. The research is made with the sampling method. Primary School students in the district of Bursa and Osmangazi are composed to research universe, 369 students that join the research are the sample. Research datas are gathered by using questionare forms. The datas that are taken from the questionares are analized by SPSS package programming. The student?s think that the most harmful factors that damage food safety are like that % 19.8 of them are microbial contamination., % 19.2 of them are food additives. % 55.3 of students indicate doctors and % 12.2 of them indicate TV programs, radio, internet as information resources that they can reach to. It is found that female?s level of information about additives is higher ( p<.001). The school age is a term of perception and respanse. By benefiting these features, the education of food hygiene and food safety should be started at these ages and this should bge made effectively and regularly.Key Words: Food Safety, Student, Knowledge, Behavior.
