Researching psychological exhaustion level of elementary school teachers

This research has been done to research level of psychological exhaustion on the elementary school teachers.The research has been applied on 341 teachers who work at some primary schools located in Anatolian side of Istanbul. The data which was collected for the research were analyzed by using SPSS packet program.In this research; exhaustion level of teachers was analyzed according to their sex, age, marital status, seniority, education level, branch, average student quantity of their classes and social ? economical standards of the environment which the school located in.The data of this research had been collected by using Maslach exhaustion scale survey and survey forms were filled by visiting the teachers one by one; and some explanation was made to the teachers where it is needed. The survey consists of 30 questions.The electronics material using scale used through the research consists of four subfactors. The data was analyzed by doing % (percentage), t-test, Anova (simplex variant analysis) and scheffe test.At the end of the research according to ?Maslach exhaustion survey? scale on the exhaustion level of elementary school teachers some meaningful differences were observed according to their sex, age, branch, marital status, education level, professional seniority, average student quantity of their classes and social ? economical standards of the environment which the school located in.
