The disciplinary problems of forth and fifth graders faced by their teachers

This research has been done in order to display the causes and performed solution methods of discipline problems that 4th and 5th grade class teachers,encountered in their class and it is done to be able to assess these solutions. The research is an operative study and scanning is used as model.The center of this research has been formed by 4th and 5th level students and teachers in Kucukcekmece district of İstanbul in 2006-2007 educational season. The schools has been selected via randomly choosing method. 6 schools, 60 teachers and 180 students has been the sample of research.This research has shown that the teacher or classroom manager should be able to manage any disciplinary acts which might occur. Also, it is important for new research to dispute that negative student behavior over shadowed positive behavior.
