Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study was to test the reliability of the physical fitness test battery for elemantery students in sixth to eigth grades.Total number of subjects fort he study were 512 students (252 girls and 260 boys) who participated in all tests and retests. The physical fitness test battery for elemantery students consisted of six subtests including body mass index, V sit and reach test, 30-sec sit-up test, 30-sec push-up test, 20 m speed test run test and 1600 m run/walk distance run tests.Separate analyses were used for each grade/age levels fort he gender.Univariate interclass and intraclass test-retest in reliability coefficents were used for all subtests in physical fitness battery.Univariate intraclass test-retest in reliability coefficents of subtests were determined; for the BMI, R=0,99 (boys R=0,99, girls R=0,99), for the V sit and reach test, R=0,96 (boys R=0,96, girls R=0,96), for the 30-sec sit-up test, R=0,93 (boys R=0,89, girls R=0,93) , for the 30-sec-push-up test, R=0,94 (boys R=0,91, girls R=0,93), for the 20 m speed run test, R=0,87(boys R=0,83, girls R=0,88), for the 1600 m distance run test, R=0,94(boys R=0,93, girls R=0,94) and interclass test-retest in reliability coefficents of subtests were determined; for the BMI, r=0,99(boys r=0,99, girls r=0,99), for the V sit and reach test, r=0,93(boys r=0,93, girls r=0,93), for the 30-sec sit-up test, r=0,88(boys r=0,84, girls r=0,87), for the 30-sec-push-up test, r=0,86(boys r=0,80, girls r=0,88), for the 20 m speed run test, r=0,78(boys r=0,71, girls r=0,79), for the 1600 m distance run test, r=0,89(boys r=0,86, girls r=0,89).The multivariate reliability of the physical fitness test battery was high, interclass and intraclass reliability coefficents moderate to high for elemantary students in sixth to eigth grades.
