Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study is to determine the effects of using multipleintelligence approach in teaching the chapter entitled ?The Forign Policy of TurkishRepublic? in the History of Turkish Republic Revolutions and Kemalism courseupon the attitudes and geins of eighth grade students in the primary school.At the proceeding study, having two groups from eight grade students inCanip Baysal Primary Scholl students in Bolu , traditional teaching is applied forcontrol group and multiple intelligences is applied for subject group.In the study data has been given by pre-test, last-test and attitude test. Thesedata analyze with t-test, standart devision and mean.The result of the study could be summarized as follows :1. There was a significant difference between subject group applied multipleintelligences, and cotrol group applied traditional teaching as an advantage of subjectgroup from the point of view of knowledge level reaching point.2. There was a significant difference between subject group applied multipleintelligences, and cotrol group applied traditional teaching as an advantage of subjectgroup from the point of view of understanding level reaching point.3. There was a significant difference between subject group applied multipleintelligences, and cotrol group applied traditional teaching as an advantage ofsubject group from the point of view of applying and more high level reaching point.4. There was a significant difference between subject group applied multipleintelligences and cotrol group applied traditional teaching as an advantage of subjectgroup from the point of view of total reaching point.5. There was a significant difference between subject group applied multipleintelligences and cotrol group applied traditional teaching as an advantage of subjectgroup from the point of view of attitude point.According to this results, in the event of applying multiple intelligences, inthe History of Turkish Republic Revolutions and Kemalism course is more effective.Keywords: Multiple ntelligences, Traditional Learning, History of TurkishRepublic Revolutions and Kemalism
