Digital citizenship behaviour of social studies teachers of primary investigation of some variables (The sample of Fırat, Dicle, Siirt , Adıyaman universities)

This study was conducted to examine the perceptions of digital citizenship and social studies teachers for its subscale. The participants of the 2015-2016 academic year, Fırat, Dicle , Siirt and Adıyaman Social Studies teacher part of there search consists of 682 teachers in 1,2,3 and 4th class.361 male and 321 female participants ranged from 17-24 years old. Research data Kocadağ (2012) byt eachers of digital citizenship scale prepared for the measurement of digital citizenship level candidates and gender, age, family monthly income of their own computer, social networking integration, they are social studies grade level students and seven variables related to the duration of stay on the internet application is carried out. Applied digital citizenship scale observations made for the 5-week teaching practice course researcher and observations by the 63-item is the result of the interview results were obtained.The quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. In the qualitative analysis of the obtained data it was used descriptive analysis technique. In a survey of social studies teachers have seen that high levels of digital citizenship. But in answer to some of the variables are statistically significant differences emerge.Digital citizenship Social Studies teacher candidates, e-government applications, digital literacy, the exchange of information in the media on- line network pages, reading, writing and comprehension skills, digital commerce is making shopping environment with inconversion, digital ethics, digital works of copyrights, digital information access, technology skills to achieve the virtual environment, digital communications, e-mail and file sharing, questioning digital security and virtual environments, personal responsibility and the rights and freedoms of the 63 questions were asked. Social Studies teachers' answers to these questions reveal that there are significant similarities in the perception of digital citizenship.The perceptual illusion of teachers' rights and responsibilities associated with the concept of the digital citizenship have been determined. If it is desired to be grown in the information society requires major roles in the digital era, especially the teaching of social studies teachers rights and freedoms are reduced. Digital citizenship universities Social Studies teacher should find a place in the large part of the curriculum in primary and secondary school curriculum and should be integrated, especially the Social Studies.
