The level of acceptance and rejection perception of mother-child relation with the mothers' marital satisfaction and adjustmet of the students attending primary school

In this research it has been aimed to indicate that if there is a connection with the students who attend 4th 5th and 6th classes of primary school perception levels of the acceptance and rejection of mother child relation and their mothers? marital adjustment and satisfaction levels. It has also been investigated if the students? perception levels of the acceptance and rejection of mother-child relation and mothers? marriage satisfaction and adjustments? levels change according to some variables.The students who attend the 4th 5th and 6th year primary school students and their mothers in the central of Adana has been formed the universe of the research. Five primary school located in Seyhan and Yüreğir connected to Adana ministery of national education have been taken in the research. This research consist of 220 girls, 193 boys and their mothers.In the study with the aim of indicating the perception levels of the students, parent child relations Parental Acceptance Rejection Questionarie has been used to indicate the levels of mothers? marital satisfaction Marital Satisfaction Scale and indicate the levels of mothers? marital adjustment Marital Adjustment Scale. However, the individual information form consisting Socio-Economic Level Scale and the questions asked to mothers about their age, the number of the children, the style of marriage and with the aim of indicating the levels of their socio-economic, Socio-Economic Level Scale has been used.At the end of the research it has shown that there is a meaningful important difference between mothers? marital adjustment and satisfaction levels and the acceptance and rejection perception levels of mother-child relation. A meaningful difference has been found out between marital adjustment and satisfaction and the sub scales of the Parental and Rejection Scale. When looked through if it changes according to some variables of the relation of mother child with the acceptance and rejection perception levels, there is a meaningful difference considering the number of the children in the family and class level, but sex, socio economic level and the style of mothers? marriage haven?t been affective on the perception levels of children?s rejection of mother-child relations. There is a meaningful difference between mothers? marital satisfaction, adjustment, perception of the acceptance and rejection of mother child relation and the sub scales of the Parental and Rejection Scale correlations. When looked through if the levels of mothers? marital satisfaction and adjustment differ from variables, meaningful differences has been found out.
